PROPER INSTALL, USE, STORAGE, FUEL LEAKING: Failure to properly install, use, or store the container could result in serious injury?or?death.?Use?only?with?approved?mounts. Read and follow the entire container, mount, and vehicle owner's manuals prior to installation and usage. Leaking fuel could result in serious injury or death. Inspect?the?container,?spout,?screw?cap,?dust?cap, dust cap gasket, Flame Mitigation Device (FMD), and mount prior to vehicle operation and do not use if damaged or leaking. Ensure container is properly closed with the cap tight when not filling or pouring. Vent before each use. See Polaris.com for instructions, warnings, and fitment. FILLING: Stop engine and allow to cool before refueling. WARNING: Fuels such as gasoline can be extremely flammable. Rollovers, crashes, rough riding, or changes in elevation or temperature may lead to fuel spilling or vapor release from portable containers. Hot vehicle parts can cause fires, even after the engine has been turned off. Improperly carrying fuel can lead to serious burn injuries or death. To reduce these risks, only carry fuel using a POLARIS-approved Portable Fuel Container and Mount and follow the instructions that come with the container and mount. Remove container from vehicle and place on the ground to fill. Filling the container while on the vehicle does not properly ground the container. Flowing gasoline can?create?static?electricity, which can create a spark and ignite the gasoline or vapors. FIRE / FMD: NEVER USE GASOLINE TO START OR ACCELERATE A FIRE.
