• High altitude operation can be improved with specific modifications to the carburetor. If always operating above 3000 feet to 8000 feet (915m to 2348m) have an authorized Polaris servicing dealer perform the carburetor modifications.


• Meets emission standards when operated at high altitudes with the modifications for high altitude operations.


• With carburetor modifications, horsepower will decrease by around 3.5% for every 1000 feet (300m) increase in altitude.


• Operation of the generator at an altitude lower than the carburetor is jetted for may result in reduced performance, overheating, and serious engine damage caused by an excessively lean air/fuel mixture. Be sure to have any modification reversed at lower altitudes.
